Head of Division

(1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Division, the Scientific and Technical Cooperation Division is responsible for:

• The development, monitoring and implementation of Government policy on scientific and technical cooperation, in liaison with the technical divisions;
• Preparation and monitoring of agreements and conventions with national and international partners;
• Coordinating the execution of aid and cooperation programs;
• Identification, preparation, monitoring and evaluation of cooperation programs and projects;
• Monitoring technical cooperation with international partners and organizations;
• Monitoring of relations with Cameroonian researchers abroad; Maintaining the file of organizations and associations involved in the field of scientific and technical research;
• Monitoring decentralized cooperation in the scientific and technical research sector, in liaison with the other administrations concerned;
• Coordinating training offers from international partners and organizations;
• Evaluation of the partnership in the scientific and technical research sector.

(2) It includes:

• The National and Regional Partnership and Cooperation Unit;
• The International Cooperation Cell.
