The Popularization Cell

Article 35.- (1) Placed under the authority of a Unit Head, the Popularization Unit is responsible for:

• the development and monitoring of the national policy for the popularization of research results;
• carrying out reference studies with a view to popularizing innovations;
• the development of mechanisms for transferring research results and innovations;
• the development of strategies for setting up pilot units and pre-extension centers;
• the development of strategies for popularizing innovations resulting from research work carried out by isolated inventors;
• scientific animation, in particular through the organization of conferences, forums, symposia and open days.

(2) It includes, in addition to the Head of Unit, three (03) Assistant Research Officers.
