(1) Placed under the authority of a Unit Head, the Scientific and Technical Capacity Building Unit is responsible for:
- the programming, conduct, implementation and monitoring of studies and scientific and technical infrastructure projects, in liaison with the administrations and partners concerned;
- mobilizing the expertise and scientific and technical potential of Cameroonians abroad;
- the centralization and study of accreditation files for private research and innovation structures;
- prospecting for expertise and appropriate infrastructure for the development of traditional pharmacopoeias.
(2) It includes, in addition to the Head of Cell, three (03) Assistant Studies Officers.
