The International Cooperation Cell

Article 40.- (1) Placed under the authority of a Unit Head, the International Cooperation Unit is responsible for:

• the development, monitoring and development of scientific and technical cooperation between Cameroon and its international partners;
• monitoring the application of procedures for implementing the partnership between economic operators, international partners and public research institutions;
• the preparation and monitoring of negotiations on scientific and technical cooperation, in liaison with the administrations concerned;
• the coordination of training scholarship offers from non-African or international partners;
• monitoring the development and implementation of partnership agreements emanating from non-African countries, in liaison with the administrations concerned;
• the examination of partnership files in science and technology and the maintenance of the related file;
• maintaining the file of cooperating staff;
• the development and implementation of mechanisms for mobilizing resources in favor of research and innovation;
• the negotiation of contracts and financing agreements with partners;
• support for research programs on a competitive basis;
• processing requests for support from independent researchers;

(2) It includes, in addition to the Head of Unit, four (04) Assistant Study Managers
