It is my honor to speak before you today, on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the 9th International Conference on Volcanic Lakes (CVL9), and the commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the sad events of Lakes Nyos and Monoun. On this solemn and historic occasion, I would first like to express my deep and deferential gratitude to the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA, for kindly authorizing the holding of this important event, and agreeing to ensure its patronage.
As part of the scientific event called “Research Month”, at the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation, Professor NGONKEU MANGAPTCHE Eddy Léonard, Technical Advisor No. 2 at MINRESI, will present a conference on the theme “ CONTRIBUTION OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH TO IMPORT SUBSTITUTION IN CAMEROON”, on Wednesday August 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the MINRESI conference room.
