Article 34.- (1) Placed under the authority of a Cell Head; the Scientific and Technical Information Unit is responsible for:

  • the development of scientific and technical publishing policy;
  • the dissemination of scientific and technical information;
  • editorial production; the codification of access to scientific and technological information from the National Research and Innovation System;
  • the establishment of an electronic portal on the National Research and Innovation System;
  • the creation of a database on inventions, discoveries and research results;
  • the development and monitoring of the application of measures aimed at promoting the exchange and transfer of scientific information.

(2) It includes, in addition to the Head of Unit, four (04) Assistant Study Managers.
