The Cell for the Promotion of Research and Development of Traditional Pharmacopoeias

Article 32.- (1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Unit, the Unit for the Promotion of Research and Development of Traditional Pharmacopoeias is responsible for:

• the development of proposals relating to the development of research in the field of traditional pharmacopoeias;
• the development of a national file of independent researchers in the field of traditional pharmacopoeias;
• support for the promotion and protection of endogenous knowledge in the field of traditional pharmacopoeias;
• the development of control and validation procedures for traditional medicines.

(2) It includes, in addition to the Head of Unit, two (02) Assistant Research Officers.
