The Development Unit for Scientific and Technological Poles and Parks

Article 30.- (1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Unit, the Development Unit for Scientific and Technological Poles and Parks is responsible for:

• the development of the national policy for the promotion of science and technology centers and parks;
• the definition of the legislative and regulatory framework conducive to their creation;
• defining and monitoring the implementation of appropriate technological infrastructure development strategies;
• the development and monitoring of the implementation of strategies for creating innovative businesses.

(2) It includes, in addition to the Head of Unit, three (03) Assistant Research Officers.
