The Expertise, Innovation Procedures and Regulations Unit
Article 28.- (1) Placed under the authority of a Unit Head, the Expertise, Innovation Procedures and Regulation Unit is responsible for:
- The creation of the national scientific and technological expertise file;
- the development and monitoring of the implementation of the national innovation policy;
- the development of the National Innovation Plan;
- the development of a legislative and regulatory framework favorable to innovation;
- the development of national innovation development and transfer strategies;
- planning, monitoring and controlling the execution of innovation programs;
- drafting the annual national innovation report;
- the definition of procedures aimed at promoting the creation and development of innovative businesses the development of standards, in liaison with the administrations and organizations concerned;
- the codification of innovation programs and projects;
- carrying out analytical and prospective studies allowing the orientation and control of innovations;
- the collection and processing of statistics on national innovations.
(2) It includes, in addition to the Head of Unit, three (03) Assistant Research Officers.
