The Communication Unit
Placed under the authority of a Unit Head, the Communication Unit is responsible for:
- The implementation of the government communications strategy within the Ministry;
- The design and formatting of specific messages from the Minister;
- The collection, analysis and conservation of the Ministry’s journalistic and audiovisual documentation;
- The use of articles relating to research and innovation issues published in the national or international press;
- Permanent promotion of the Department’s brand image;
- Protocol and the organization of ceremonies in which the Minister participates;
- The organization of press conferences and other communication actions of the Minister;
- Writing and publishing the newsletter and all other publications of interest to the Ministry;
- Animation of the Ministry’s website.
It includes, in addition to the Head of Unit, two (02) Assistant Research Officers.
