As part of the strengthening of Cameroon’s agricultural production technologies, the closing ceremony of the national workshop relating to the triangular project of the aforementioned countries was held on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at 9 a.m. at the Mont Febé hotel in Yaoundé. Madam Secretary General chaired the proceedings on behalf of Madam Minister, in the presence of their excellencies Madam the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Cameroon and the High Commissioner of India to Cameroon. In her speech for the occasion, Professor Rebecca Madeleine EBelle Etamè indicated that the objective of this project is to ensure the transfer to Cameroon of Indian apical rooted potato technologies. It is a question of boosting the quality of the agricultural supply of potatoes. This cooperation was made possible thanks to the action of GIZ Cameroon and India, the German institution whose experts immediately presented a video projection of their activities in India and Cameroon. During their speeches, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany and the High Commissioner of India to Cameroon welcomed the visible and concrete progress of this fruitful cooperation.
